Public and private International Law

The Firm gained a solid expertise in the context of International Trade Law and, in particular, it has a recognized experience with regard to proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

In addition, Santa Maria Law Firm gives its legal assistance with reference to issues concerning dumping and subsidies, having the Firm advised on several occasions the Italian Government, as for example, for the implementation of the GATT/WTO system with regard to the legal consequences related to imports of several categories of goods from China.

The Firm also advises its clients in relation to critical issues involving Private International Law and deals, in particular, with conflicts of law, the determination of competent jurisdictions as well as the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.
